the studio
Starting out as a pottery studio means we get to experience what is it like to make and produce with the ceramic medium, which is, a lot of times, unpredictable. Over time, after we familiarized ourselves with medium, we tend to find more unpredictability in the experiments beforehand. When the ideas aren’t fully materialized yet.
We find our studio space vital to our process of thinking and making, especially because a lot of times, we work collectively. We are never sure when asked to define where one’s work end and the other begins. Exchange of ideas often comes between everyday activities done at the studio, as we spend lots of time around our small kitchen. The only thing we’re sure of is that here, at studio, we work, we process our ideas with each other, and that’s where everything comes from.
